Baseline concussion testing includes a check for concussion symptoms, as well as balance and cognitive (such as concentration and memory) assessments. Computerized testing, such as the C3 Logix may be included as a piece of an overall baseline to asses a patients concentration, memory and reaction time. We also utilize the BtrackS system to assess a patients balance.
Balance Testing – BtrackS
The Balance Tracking System gives us an all in one solution to access and train balance by administering computerized protocols with the gold standard force plate technology.
C3 Logix is a comprehensive assessment of overall brain function detailing short term memory, long term memory, attention to detail, problem solving, balance and reaction time.
Chiropractic focuses on disorders of the musculoskeltal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health.
Interactive Metronome is a training device that incorporates visual, audtiory, and proprioception to improve focus, attention to detail, concentration, and multi tasking among many other things to aid in recovery from brain trauma or improve function.
Cold Laser Therapy is a therapeutic treatment to help reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain. In addition, it encourages cell tissue repair and growth.

We use rehabilitation in our office to help a patient regain physical, mental and/or cognitive (thinking and learning) abilities that have been lost or impaired as a result of disease, injury or treatment. Rehabilitation services help patients return to daily life and live in a normal or near-normal way.
Vestibular therapy is a form of rehabilitation that helps to stabilize a patients gaze, posture, balance and gait. Often times, these exercises will include combinations of head and body movement in concert with eye exercises. Stable gaze, posture, balance and gait are so vital to our every day function that many types of injuries, conditions and disease processes cant benefit from vestibular therapy.
Videonystagmography is considered the gold standard in examining vestibular function. Balance problems, dizziness and ocular motor dysfunction can be assessed through VNG, as well as helping to examine many central brain issues.
